Wild Child Day Camps are owned and operated by Joel & Lori Van Egbert.
Lori aka "Orca" has been a school teacher since 2009. Prior to that, Lori was an Outdoor Educator and Camp leader and counselor.
Joel aka "Super Shark" has been creating camps for children for nearly 25 years. He has worked with over 40,000 kids from all corners of the

Joel aka "Super Shark" has been creating camps for children for nearly 25 years. He has worked with over 40,000 kids from all corners of the world. He is a leader in the camps industry and a consultant to many local camps here in Colorado.
Counselors. We select our counselors based on their passion for camp. We are grateful to have a high demand to work at Wild Child, which allows to hand-pick the best people to surround your children.
We proudly maintain a 1:6 staff to camper ratio.

Each week is consistent. 2 days of swimming, 1 day of outdoor education and two days of adventures - all set to amazing themes. Our adventures include whitewater rafting, rock climbing, canoeing, horseback riding, train rides, mine tours, a mountain summit attempt and site visits to places like museums, zoos and amusement parks. Each week

Each week we extend one day and offer a parent's night out where kids get an exciting evening experience.
