 SPRING 2026 DETAILS

 Wild Child is known for helping kids dream big, and SPARK: Creative Writing Club is where those dreams find words. 

Every child has stories worth telling, and for Woodrow Wilson Academy students in grades 2nd and up, this is the space to tell them. Through storytelling, poetry, journaling, and writing craft, kids create both individual pieces and collaborative compilations - building confidence as writers and as themselves.

• Spring Season Dates (Tuesdays): 4/21, 4/28, 5/5, 5/12, 5/19
• Session Schedule: The first half of each class is focused on creative exercises and individual writing, followed by a snack break, then collaborative projects and writing showcase!
• Pick-up at 4:30pm at WWA
• Students must bring: a durable journal/notebook, pencils, eraser, snacks, and water bottle. All additional materials provided by Wild Child

COST: $150 for the full season or $30 per individual session. Students must attend a minimum of 4 sessions.

SPRING 2026 CURRICULUM

• Story Sparks: generating ideas, building narrative confidence, planning our stories.
• Poetry Play: exploring rhythm, imagery, and expressive language
• Journaling for Voice: personal reflection, observation and writing with a purpose!
• Craft and Technique: dialogue, description, structure, and revision
• Collaborative Writing: group stories, compilations and shared creative projects
